Job Description:
Position entails working in a fast paced atmosphere performing Desktop Support related work.
Position would require supporting both a corporate and a 24/7/365 call center environment.
Position is contract to hire for 90 days pending performance review with a merit based pay increase upon permanent hire. We are willing to work around student's school schedule within normal business operating hours, M-F 8am-5pm. Applicant must be free for a minimum of 4 hours in a work shift. Due to the nature of our business, some after hours and weekend work may be required along with the opportunity to work additional hours.
Job Requirements:
A qualified applicant would possess,
- Basic knowledge of principals in general computing and computer networks.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to install and support PC hardware and peripherals, software suites such as Microsoft Office, Windows XP, and other systems related to a call center and corporate environment.
- Physical Strength and dexterity to move and install workstations and other PC hardware.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly assimilate and apply technical knowledge.
- Ability and motivation to work independently with little supervision.
